Privacy policy

This policy explains what data Jobleft collects, why, how we protect it and what rights you have, in line with Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law.
What we collect
- Your CV and the text we extract from it when you upload it.
- Your account details: name and email, and your profile photo if you sign in with Google.
- Subscription details: plan, renewal dates, and your card's brand and last four digits. We never store your full card number; Moyasar processes payments.
- Usage data: pages you visit and jobs you open or save, so we can improve matches and the service.
Why we use it
- To match you with suitable jobs and explain each match.
- To run your account and subscription and send related messages, such as sign-in codes, receipts and renewal reminders.
- To email you about jobs and updates: new matching jobs each week and updates from Jobleft, unless you turn it off. Untick the box at sign-in, change it on your account page, or use the stop link at the bottom of every email. Sign-in codes, receipts and renewal notices always come, as part of the service.
- We process your CV based on the consent you give when you upload it. You can withdraw consent by deleting it.
Who we share it with
- We don't sell your data, and we never share your CV with employers.
- We use service providers that process data only on our behalf: Cloudflare for hosting and storage, OpenAI to analyze CV text after we remove contact details, Moyasar for payments, SendGrid for email and PostHog for usage analytics.
- Some of these providers may process data outside Saudi Arabia. We follow the legal requirements for transfers outside the Kingdom and choose providers that apply appropriate safeguards.
How we protect it and how long we keep it
- Your CV file and its text are stored encrypted, in private storage that isn't reachable from the internet.
- We scan every uploaded file and reject unsafe ones.
- If you upload a CV without signing in, we delete it automatically after 30 days.
- If you have an account, we keep your CV until you delete it or your account. We keep payment records for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
- To know what data we hold about you and get a copy.
- To correct or update your data.
- To delete your CV or your whole account from settings, or by asking us.
- To withdraw your consent to processing your CV at any time.
